What if you could spend a weekend creating a map to help future astronauts explore Mars using NASAโs open data?
NASA Space Apps has 14 challenges to choose from, ranging from Beginner/Youth to Advanced, so you can find one that suits your experience and how ambitious you want to get over the weekend.

If youโd rather work with sound, ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ต ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ผ๐
(Beginner/Youth, Intermediate) invites you to pair NASAโs Earth visualizations with sounds generated in real time, giving people another way to explore our changing planet.
With ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐
(Advanced), you could build a web tool that lets anyone explore images of the sky from NASAโs SPHEREx mission and see how they change over time.
These are just three of the 14 challenges you can take on this year.
